Kirsty Parkes

Solicitor

Kirsty is a Solicitor within the Clinical Negligence Department at Been Let Down.

Kirsty has been qualified as a solicitor for 6 years and has worked for a number of prestigious firms prior to joining Bond Turner.

During her career she has gained experience working on a wide variety of clinical negligence matters, including high value cases predominantly involving spinal injuries (including cauda equina syndrome), brain injuries, birth injuries, amputations, stroke cases, delays in diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and claims where patients have sadly passed away as a result of negligent treatment.

Kirsty adopts a forensic approach to her work and has a keen eye for detail. She enjoys working on matters involving complex issues surrounding breach of duty, causation and quantum and has achieved extremely positive results for her clients.

Kirsty has recently returned to work following a period of leave whilst her 2-year-old daughter underwent treatment for cancer. Kirsty’s recent personal experiences as a parent of a child with cancer enables her to truly empathise with her clients and understand the reality of living with a critical illness, being in the hospital setting long-term, and caring for a close family member.

Kirsty always treats her client with compassion and will, wherever possible, go the extra mile to give them the best experience possible. She provides advice to her clients in a clear, concise and plain-speaking manner in an effort to demystify the claims process.
